"We were staying nearby and noticed this highly rated restaurant on Google. We went for a Saturday breakfast. The building is a bit difficult to spot, since the large sign says CJ's Bar and Grill. It's a charcoal colored building with sea creatures painted on the exterior walls. There is a vinyl sign on the parking lot side of the building. The interior is bright and clean. The wait staff greeted us pleasantly. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived at 9AM. Our breakfasts arrived shortly after ordering and were wonderful."

"Very relaxed and country atmosphere. The server was nice and very prompt. Nothing really fancy but makes you feel like you're in your grandma's house and it's just very old school. The pimento cheese sandwich with red pepper jelly was amazing. And their coffee is very fresh. I would go back there again for a simple breakfast meal."

"First off. Local hangout, that says "good". Coffee for our snobby taste, surprisingly good, full bodied and smooth. Wife ordered breakfast burrito and I ordered mama's breakfast. Great food. Biscuit fluffy. Everything cooked as ordered. Yum."

"Wow! We had breakfast here this morning and it was awesome! The grits were probably the best I have had (and I'm from the south) and the biscuits and gravy were awesome! Will definitely go back when visiting Biloxi again."

"The BEST country fried steak I ever had. Along with mashed potatos and green beans, this is THE place to go for amazing country cooking. You can actually taste the seasoning. The wife had the pork chops. big juicy and was so good. She also loved the turnip greens and okra and cornbread. Large portions, so you will not leave hungry. The place is old and it shows. Just like you remember a cafe should be. So much better than the chain restaurants. I wished I lived closer as this would be our go to place. Lots of regular local folks there. Oh, and the homemade banana pudding. Oh my god."

"We have tried multiple places since moving to the Gulf Coast looking for good Chicken Fried Steak. My husband was so happy I saw a previous review of this establishment. They did not disappoint. I had the Thick Sliced Dries Bologna sandwich and OH MY GOODNESS it was so good. I totally forgot to get pics before we dug in but these pics show the thickness of both meals."
